Headquartered in Schertz, Texas, a suburb of San Antonio, CalTex was founded in 1983. Originally two separate automotive product businesses, one located in California and the other in Texas, the two merged to form Cal-Tex Protective Coatings, Incorporated. Since then, CalTex has grown to become the premier provider of environmental protection and aftermarket products sold, through thousands of automotive dealerships nationwide.

For the last 30 years, we have served this industry with a strong and dedicated sales team who knows the challenges and opportunities faced by our partners across the country.

Most known for our ResistAll product line, we built our reputation by providing breakthrough solutions for vehicle interior and exterior protection. But we haven’t stopped there. The depth of automotive expertise, and technical know-how, has contributed to a wide range of services, like reinsurance for dealers, as well as creative advances in application technology, that continue to drive a robust business model for us and our partners.
With the adoption of nanotechnology into environmental protection products, and the first-to-market with breakthrough processes for the exterior and interior of vehicles, the newest and latest ResistAll products were introduced to the marketplace in 2007.
